William F. King Jr., MD, FAAP, is a 1993-graduate of The Yale University’s School of Medicine in Connecticut, where he was also elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His postgraduate training includes his pediatrics residency served at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA (1993-1996). Dr. King completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Stanford University in 1988. He attained board certification in pediatrics with the American Board of pediatrics. Furthermore, he has been honored with the Teaching Excellence Award (2000, Temple Children’s Hospital), the Elm & Ivy Award (1991, Yale University SOM), the Dean’s Award for Academic Achievement (1988, Stanford University), and the Outstanding Summer Student (1987, National Institutes of Health). He is Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP, 2001) and holds multiple volunteer positions, including Vice President for the Medical Society of Eastern PA (2021 – Present), Mentor for the Northern Children’s Garden (2015 – Present), and Gardener for White Rock Children’s Garden (2012 – Present).
